Meijer Distribution Center 871 & 872

LeJeune News
October 17, 2013 -

LeJeune Steel Co. has taken part in constructing the Meijer Distribution Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. The distribution center will include offices, a dry grocery warehouse, refrigerated warehouse, energy center, space for truck maintenance and a fueling station.

The original distribution center required 840 tons of structural steel and is nearly complete while the already approved addition to the same facility will consist of 360 more tons. The quickly awarded addition will help Meijer Inc. to open further stores throughout Wisconsin.

The steel is to be fabricated at Wisconsin Structural Steel Co., a sister company to LeJeune. The same team will be used for both construction phases.
