throughout the country, with
an average graduation rate
of 90 percent. The curriculum
is based on a four-day school
week. On day five, students
work at local business, to
help pay their tuition.
The
building will feature three
levels of steel framing for
a total of 550 tons. The gymnasium
roof is supported by 145 foot
long span joists.

This project will consist of
one structure, however the High
School and The Colin Powell Center
are two distinct entities. The
Colin Powell Center will provide
a host of services for neighborhood
kids and families, whom may not
necessarily be attending the
High School. The total cost of
the project will be $30 million,
with $16 million already raised.
LeJeune will be making a significant
gift to the project along with
Viking Sprinkler and Doody Mechanical,
both APi Group companies.
